Klinik Farma – Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko was labeled a thug by Rocky Gerung after claiming he would install a body for President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). According to him, Moeldoko’s reaction to the speech, which was considered offensive, did not reflect the figure of a government official.
“He (Moeldoko) also became angry, saying: “I will put on the body.” You, of course, ask, is Mr. Moeldoko a volunteer? Because the language is the same. It is not the main language of government officials like thugs who want to get dressed,” Rocky said at a press conference in downtown Jakarta on Friday (04/08/2023).
Rocky added that Moeldoko should have reacted to the speech with composure. The track record of Moeldoko, which in the language of bandits is called huge, aroused curiosity. The following is a summary starting from military service to KSP’s career.

Moeldoko was the best graduate of the Military Academy (Akmil) in 1981 and received the Adhi Makayas award. After graduation, his figure was immediately entrusted with the position of platoon commander of the infantry battalion Yonif 700 / BS Kodam XIV / Hasanuddin.
He then went on to be known as Danki A Airborne Yonif 700/BS Kodam XIV/Hasanuddin and Chief of Operations for the Yonif 700/BS Kodam VII/Wirabuana Mayor infantry battalion. Don’t forget that Moeldoko also served as Operations Officer Kodima 1408/BS Ujungpandang.
He is also Deputy Commander of Yonif 202/Tajimalela, Chief of Territory Brigif-1 PAM IK/JS, Commander of Yonif 201/Jaya Yudha and Commander of Kodim 0501/Central Jakarta. Moeldoko also frequently served Sespri Wakasad and Pabandya-3 Ops PB-IV/Sopsad.
In addition, he held other positions: commander of Brigif-1/Jaya Sakti, Asops Kasdam VI/Tanjungpura, Dirbindiklat Pussenif, commander of Rindam VI/Tanjungpura, commander of Korem 141/Toddopuli Watampone, Pa Kasad economic expert.
His career continued as Doctrine Director of the Indonesian Army’s Kasdam Jaya Training and Education Center as well as commander of the 1st Infantry Division/Kostrad. He is also entrusted with the positions of Commander XII/Tanjungpur Regional Military Command, Commander III/Siliwangi Regional Military Command and Deputy Governor of Lemhannas.

The matter did not end there, Moeldoko’s career accelerated in 2013. This is due to the fact that he was elected by Wakasad and simultaneously appointed as the chief of staff of the army. Then he was even entrusted to serve as the commander of the TNI to replace Admiral Agus Suhartono.
Two years later, or in 2015, Moeldoko entered politics. At that time, he became a member of the People’s Conscience Party (Khanura). He was even entrusted with acting as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the party for the period 2016-2018.
On the other hand, Moeldoko was the general chairman of the Indonesian Peasant Consent Association (HKTI) during the period 2017–2020. The peak of his political career came when Jokowi appointed him Chief of Staff to the President (KSP) in 2018.
In 2019, Moeldoko was once again entrusted with acting as KSP in the Indonesia Front Office. Finally, in 2021, he was appointed as the General Chairman (Ketum) of the Democratic Party at the Extraordinary Congress of Deli Serdang (KLB).
This caused intra-party problems as he was thought to have removed Agus Harimurthy Yudhoyono (AHY) as chairman. Later, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) did not recognize the results of the Democratic KLB Deli Serdang.
