Jakarta, Klinik Farma – Two Eid al-Fitrs and long holidays are the main reason for the growth of the Indonesian economy in the second quarter of 2023 above 5%. This can be seen from household consumption, which managed to achieve a 5.23% year-on-year growth.
“Economic growth of 5.17% in 2023 in the second quarter was mainly driven by household consumption components, PMTB, government consumption and nonprofits, which grew positively,” said BPS Deputy Balance Sheet and Statistical Analysis, Moh. Edi Mahmoud at a press conference on Monday (07/08/2023).
