He revealed that the name of Anis’s partner will be announced before registration with the KPU .
Surya Palo assured that this decision does not mean that the Coalition for Change for Unity does not support Anis as a vice presidential candidate. “It’s like an international football match, like the World Cup, where friends are playing, everything can change in the last two minutes. For information, the CPU has set a nomination schedule for the President and Vice President for the period from October 19, 2023 to November 25, 2023. Then the campaign period begins from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024.
“If there are parties that do not want to be patient, we say: be patient,” he said.

He assured that Nasdem did not pressure Anis on the number and timing of the announcement of a vice presidential candidate, as Nasdem became the first political party to announce the name of a presidential candidate in the 2024 elections.
He therefore believed that it was now the turn of the other parties to be the first to announce the cavapres figure.
“Nasdem was the first to announce a presidential candidate. We will give other parties the opportunity to nominate a candidate for vice president,” he added.
A number of names came to the public as potential companions for Anis, including Hofifa Indar Paravansa and Agus Harimurthy Yudhoyono. But until now, Anis still does not want to reveal the name he has chosen as his companion.
