Klinik Farma – The oblique statement by Jakarta DKI head Prasetyo Edi Marsudi successfully sparked controversy. Edie’s remarks have now gone viral because he refuses business trips or assignments to inland areas such as Brebes and Tegal.
Edi unexpectedly proposed a program for a working visit abroad at a meeting of the Budget Agency DKI Jakarta DPRD on Wednesday (08.09.2023) in the evening.
Edie’s reasons for suggesting were the focus of public attention. Because Edie claimed that he was afraid that his gases would stink because he ate salted eggs if he was assigned to Brebes.
He then suggested that going abroad would be the best alternative.

“Instead of the bunker Brebesu, Tegal buys salted eggs, farts smell. It is better to leave us abroad,” he said at the meeting.
Prasetyo Profile Edi Marsudi: Two Term DPRD Chairman DKI Jakarta
Quoting information from the DKI DKI Jakarta official website, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi was born on May 13, 1962 in Kudus Regency, Central Java.
Edi entered politics through the Indonesian Struggle Democratic Party or PDIP.
He is now entrusted with serving as Chairman of the Regional People’s Legislative Assembly for the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Province for two terms.
He was successfully appointed Chairman of DKI Jakarta DPRD for the period 2014-2019 and was re-elected for the second period 2019-2024.
Before becoming the number one face in Parliament, Edi tried various strategic positions in the government.
Edie has been tasked with chairing the 2019-2024 presidential/vice success team, Ir. Joko Widodo – K.H. Maruf Amin for Jakarta DKI area.

One netizen even compared Edie to a thug.
“It’s crazy that an official can talk like a thug.” wrote one of the netizens.
Another netizen, who turned out to be a resident of Tegal, suddenly took Edie’s remark as an insult.
“As a resident of Tegal, you can replace the message with this, this is an insult” write an account.
Other netizens also requested that Edie be removed from his position.
“It’s better to be dismissed from the position of a people’s representative, besides the fact that people are represented by such creatures,” posted another account.
