As the program’s name suggests, the Honors program is designed specifically for undergraduate graduates with a GPA with honors or magna cum laude. Typically, individuals with this designation graduate with a GPA greater than 3.50 on a 4.00 scale.
Requirements for the 2023 CPNS Formation Honors Diploma.
Although it has not been officially announced, it is expected that the conditions set will be similar to those for the Honors route as in 2021. Previously, the following conditions applied.

1. Candidates are BA or S1 graduates.
2. Graduated from state universities with honors or a diploma with honors.
3. Graduate of a state university and a leading academic program.
4. Applicants from among PTS graduates can register for the type of determination of special needs for the best graduate students with honors after receiving a diploma and a certificate of their graduation with honors from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
Meanwhile, other general conditions that must be met are as follows.

- Is an Indonesian citizen
- Minimum age 20 years and maximum 59 years at the time of registration.
- Never been sentenced to prison or participated in a crime
- Never been shamefully rejected as CPNS/PNS/TNI or Polri.
- Do not reside as ASNs, whether government employees, TNI, Polri or students with official connections.
- Not a member of a political party
- Have the same educational history as the education for which you are applying.
- Possess a TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS certificate upon application.
- For graduates of domestic universities, colleges and training programs accredited by BAN-PT.
- Willing to serve and not offer to move positions at the agreed time.
Become one of the available special paths
The formation of CPNS in 2023 for the honors pathway is itself one of several special pathways provided by KemenPAN-RB. The other three routes include the Diaspora, People with Disabilities and Sons/Girls of Papua and West Papua route.
