35th Hospital Expo: Local Resources, Global Competitiveness
klinikfarma.com The 35th Hospital Expo will soon be held again at the Jakarta Hall Convention Center (JHCC) located in the Gelora Bung Karno area, Central Jakarta. This annual health exhibition is scheduled to take place from 18 to 21 October 2023. This year, the event will carry the theme ‘Local Resources, Global Competitiveness’.
Hospital Expo is a medical equipment exhibition that attracts hospitals and the general public. This event will be held simultaneously with the 19th National Seminar of the Indonesian Hospital Association (PERSI) and the 17th Annual Patient Safety Seminar.
In this exhibition, visitors can see various health devices, medical uniforms, the latest diagnostic equipment, to the latest information technology that supports the health industry. In total, there will be 923 exhibition booths managed by 334 national companies and 235 international companies.
Yudha Imam Sutedja, Marketing & Finance Director of PT Okta Sejahtera Insani as the organizer of the Hospital Expo, explained that the participating international companies came from various countries, including China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Austria, Belgium, and Russia.
Regarding the seminar activities to be held by PERSI, Yudha explained that this event will provide an opportunity for members of the organization, consisting of more than 2,731 hospitals from 32 provinces and 18 hospital associations, to obtain the information needed in the process of procuring medical equipment.
“Visitors to Hospital Expo 2023 are potential buyers for companies participating in this event. Hospital leaders and management throughout Indonesia routinely integrate the process of equipment rejuvenation and procurement of new equipment into their annual agenda,” said Yudha.
Discussion of Autoimmune Disease Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Hospital Expo 2023 will also host a number of seminars that raise important topics in the world of health. Two of the topics that will be discussed are “Delaying the Aging Process” which will be hosted by Dr. Handrawan Nadesul, and “Autoimmune Disease Multiple Sclerosis (MS) & Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO): Similar but Not the Same” which will be presented by Dr. dr. Riwanti Estiasari SpS. One of the interesting topics in this seminar is the discussion on the autoimmune disease multiple sclerosis, which will provide valuable insights into this disease to seminar participants.
