Klinik Farma – The DKI Jakarta provincial government held a ceremony to celebrate the 78th Anniversary (HUT) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) at the National Monument South Square (Monas). The ceremony was presided over by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono.
The ceremony was attended by civil servants of the Jakarta Provincial Government DKI (PNS), including the head of service and the regional secretary, along with their assistants. They are dressed in traditional clothes from different regions.
In his address to the participants of the ceremony, Heru Budi called the moment of celebration of the 78th anniversary of Indonesia’s independence an occasion for reflection.
“This celebration gives us an opportunity to reflect on the extent of Jakarta’s role in the development of the country and the well-being of the people,” Heru said on the spot on Thursday (August 17, 2023).

This year the theme of Indonesian Independence Day is “Keep moving forward Indonesia”. He said that this theme was an invitation to all components of the nation to keep fighting and moving forward while facing various challenges.
“Therefore, the DKI Jakarta provincial government should focus on making Jakarta a global city as the main gateway to global economic networks that have a real impact on global social and economic affairs,” he said.
In addition, he recalled that every aspect that the DKI provincial government is working on must have a side corresponding to the development of Jakarta. Then unite to produce various innovations in city management and better serve the community.
“Including the provision of professional services, discipline and exemplary attitude to build public confidence in the structure and development of the city of Jakarta,” he said.
“Every action counts and your hard work will bring achievements in the future as well as improve social performance,” he concluded.
