Jakarta, Klinik Farma – The government provides convenience to foreign nationals (foreigners) to acquire residence in Indonesia. Only with passport capital can foreigners buy houses or apartments.
According to REI chairman Paulus Totok Lucida, foreign ownership of real estate in Indonesia only with passport requirements should be considered positively. The reason is that it can increase the value of existing property in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, property watcher Anton Sitorus said that until now, foreign nationals have been restricted by the rules for owning property in Indonesia. It is hoped that with the amenities provided by the current government, it will be able to revitalize the country’s real estate sector and economic growth.
