Klinik Farma – The Commission for the Eradication of Corruption (CPC) claims to be investigating the number of people entrusted by Transportation Minister (Menhab) Budi Karya Sumadi to become contractors in a number of railway projects at the Ministry of Transportation.
This fact came to light after Infrastructure Director of the General Directorate of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation Harno Trimadi was presented as a witness by the accused director of PT Istana Putra Agung Dion Renato Sugiarto in the Semarang Corruption Court last Thursday. .
In this regard, the head of the reporting department of the COD, Ali Fikri, said that his side will investigate all the facts revealed during the trial of the case.
“Of course, we will ensure that the CCP prosecutorial team continues to investigate the facts of the trial, as well as the investigation process that we are currently still completing,” Ali Fikri said on Friday (04/09/2023).

It is known that Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi was interrogated by the CCP as a witness in this case on Wednesday (26.07.2023). During the investigation, Transport Minister Budi Karya was interrogated by CCP investigators regarding the mechanics of the railway construction and maintenance project under the General Administration of Railways.
“Until now, the relevant person was questioned as a witness by the CCP investigation team some time ago. We are still analyzing the results of the interrogation in question,” Ali said.
Contractor of the Minister of Transport
Earlier, Harno Trimadi, when testifying in court in the DJKA bribery case of the Ministry of Transportation, said that many contractors were entrusted by Transportation Minister Budi Karja. Instructions to the trusted contractor were given directly by Budi Karya.
A number of contractors, among others, were involved in the Lampegan-Chianjur KA Line Upgrade Project, which was divided into four packages.
