Jakarta, Klinik Farma- Puan Maharani, Chairman of the DPR of the Republic of Indonesia, delivered an opening speech at the first session of the 2023-2024 session year.
Puan sought unity of views of the DPR RI and the government when passing laws. Currently, the government and the DPR have completed work on 63 laws, in addition to the APBN law.
In addition, DPR also continues to encourage the government to overcome national challenges that face a variety of issues ranging from El Niño, SOE debt problems, sexual assault cases, digital crimes, to MSME business expansion and women empowerment.
In the DPR, the RI is also paying attention to holding elections, from which the creation of a prosperous, just, prosperous and peace-loving people is expected.
